Paulin(e) Family Reunion July 15, 2023 – Henley-on-Thames, England

15 July 2023

The date is chosen, and the plans are underway for the Paulin family reunion, to be held on 15 July 2023 in Henley-on-Thames, England.

There is a map which I have made which points out places of interest (general) and places which are intimately connected to the Paulin(e) family in Henley. If you want a digital copy, please contact me. There is also a tour guide I created which gives you places of interest for England – highlighting places that the Paulins have lived, worked, played, and are buried.

Our main meeting place will be St Mary’s Church in Henley. The grounds are public and we can gather there to meet up, get some photos of our group, etc. I have contacted them to tell them we will be about, and they are fine with that. This reunion is a lot more relaxed than the one in 2019, and you are encouraged to explore the town on your own, as well as meeting up to share a meal.

I am currently trying to organize a cream tea to be held about lunch time at Henley. There are a few options, some more expensive than others. I will keep all updated on where it will be, and will try to keep the costs reasonable. Please email me at gilliandoctor at gmail to confirm your presence.

We will be having a dinner, I am just unsure at this date (May) where it will be. From a look at some of the restaurants and pubs in Henley the cost will be about 30 pounds per person, and I may have to ask for you to pre-pay. Please email me at gilliandoctor at gmail to confirm your presence. If you have any suggestions for a place to eat, please contact me – local information is much better than my google look-ups.

Please email me if you are intending to come…. and don’t forget to book your hotel early, as summer is a busy time in Henley. If you cannot find a place in Henley, Twyford and Reading are connected by train and bus to the town, and might have some affordable options.
