My Dear Uncle,

Have arrived back after a pretty good trip.  Fairly successful in a business way.

I hardly like to ask you (after your experiences of the same thing before) but it would be a great help to me if you could see your way to endorse a note for me for $150 @ 6 mos that I can discount same at the Imperial Bank. I am very hard up for cash just now
